Family Ministries

At Lenexa UMC, we know that connecting with each other builds relationships that can last a lifetime. We build relationships in a variety of ways, including a focus on family ministries – recognizing that there is no such thing as a "typical family", and that a family looks different for each of us.

We have an active Family Ministry team that meets quarterly to plan ways for people to connect in fun, memorable ways. These events include church potlucks, BBQs, Vacation Bible School, camping trips, canoe trips, hayrides, Wednesday Night OASIS, Trunk or Treat, Hanging of the Greens, Christmas caroling party, T-Bone games, movie nights, Shrove Tuesday Pancake dinner, and more.
