Children's Ministry Calendar at a Glance Ongoing:
Sunday School for Children:
Kids' Kingdom Sunday School meets at 9am. All kids going into 1st through 6th grade are welcome to join in the fun!! This is a "rotational Model" of teaching, which means there are a variety of activities (cooking, drama, computers, and more) to give kids a chance to learn in many ways!
Younger children ages pre-K through new Kindergarteners will be using Live Big at the 9am hour. At 10:30 they use the Bible Zone curriculum!
Join us for a variety of other fun, faith-building activities at LUMC!
Summer: annual Vacation Bible School in June, annual Summer Reading Program, annual Children's Evening Camp in August, Sunday School at 9 and 10:30 each Sunday (also opportunities to participate in worship services) and more!

October 6: Preschool Carnival
October 9 Children's Sabbath at both services/ 4-H Sunday
October 12: Getting Ready for Worship Workshop, Wed. 6:30 to 7:45
October 16: New Kid's Kingdom Unit starts: King Solomon (5 weeks)
October 23: Stewardship Sunday
October 30 Sunday: Trunk or Treat Event in west parking lot. 6 to 7:30pm. Come for lots of fun!
November:
November 6: All Saints Day
November 11-12: Bible Retreat Lock-in 6 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday
November 13: Bible Presentation to 3rd graders, 10:30 service
November 19-20 YOUTH fall retreat
Nov. 20: New KK unit starts: Shepherds and Wisemen View of Christmas (5 weeks)
November 22: Thanksgiving Service At Salem Lutheran Church (just across our parking lot)
December 2011:
Nov. 30 (Wednesday) Family Advent workshop/ 5 to 6:30 p.m. Schneeberger/ meal catered by Taylor Made Catering
December 14: Last JAM/Oasis for year, Christmas Caroling for entire congregation
December 18: Preschoolers skit during Heavenly Half-hour/ LUMYouth to Grand Ave.
December 24: Christmas Eve services: 5, 7 and 11pm
December 25: Sunday (No children's Sunday School)/ Only 10:30 service
January 2012:
January 1: Worship at 9 and 10:30; children's Sunday Schools will combine today for a movie at 10:30. Happy New Year!!
