Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy

If Shawnee Mission School District cancels events, all daytime and all evening events at Lenexa UMC will be cancelled. When school is not in session, if the parking lot is not cleared 2 hours prior to the start of your event, the event is cancelled. It is imperative that all groups, including outside groups, follow this procedure for the safety of participants. We will do our best to note any cancellations on the website and on the recorded message on the church’s main phone number, 913-888-5600. If you have any questions about this policy, please call the office.
