United Methodist Church

Lenexa United Methodist Church has been serving the Lenexa, Overland Park, Olathe, and Shawnee area since our founding in 1869. Our long history in the Lenexa community is part of what makes our church unique. Over the years the church has grown with the area as Lenexa became part of suburban Kansas City, yet we've never lost the feeling of a small community centered church. Lenexa United Methodist Church is a place where friends and family gather to worship, where visitors soon see familiar faces, and a place where everyone's individual contributions are appreciated.

Worship services are at 9 am and 10:30 am. During the summer months, an informal, outdoor service is held at 8 am at nearby Sar-Ko-Par park.

We believe it takes all of us — the members of the Body of Christ — for the Church to effectively proclaim the good news and hope of the gospel. Our prayer is that you will become involved in the life of the church through the worship, study programs, ministry and friendship offered at Lenexa United Methodist Church.
